I have a 1995 4runner with a 3.slow. It runs great when it is cold. As soon as it gets up to the right temp. and I step on the gass from a stop, it has some Hesitation. Once it passes the hesitation, it is fine. Any answers to the problem?

 

I would check the temperature sensor first. The cold start injector system is something else to check. It could be something that is not temperature related, but just being hidden by fast idle. Maybe the TPS?

 

I had the same problem with mine and turned out to be the TPS (throttle position sensor). I replaced mine and now it works great. Use 4crawler method for setting it correctly as well, getting it positioned correctly will make all the difference in how well your motor will run.
