95 3vze oil pan gasket?

My oil pan has been leaking for some time and looks like a gasket is sticking out of the side between the block and pan where its leaking. I went to auto store and they sold me a set of 2(?) pan gaskets....cork variety. When reading my Chilton manual they make no mention of a gasket for my engine just use gasket sealer it says. Anybody know whether i should use the cork gasket or straight sealer? Also if i should use the gasket do i put on both or just one of them? Thank in advance guys!

I don't think you'll get a gasket in there. Between the metal splash thing & the FPIG, I was barely able to get the bolts back into mine.....

THIS. Sealer between the baffle plate and block, and then between baffle plate and oil pan.

Any color or brand of RTV/FIPG will do. Mine had 3 different colors when I bought it...and it never leaked a drop. Ultra Copper now...still not a drop.

Longer bolts/studs...
3VZE Full gasket set from DNJ Engine Components. This set includes a cork oil pan gasket but please note that some of the later engines used "RTV" with very short studs and you will want to duplicate that for reassembly as the cork gasket "may be" too thick for that configuration.
