94 Toyota Pickup V6 3.0 Headache
I have a 94 Pickup, with a 88-92 3.0 VZE motor. When I bought the truck it had no power and would occasionaly shut off and require starting fluid to restart. I sprayed MAF cleaner into the MAF. It was fine until I shredded a timing belt because a water pump pulley seized, so I replaced water pump crank/cams oil seals and pulleys, tensioner spring, thermostat, and belt of course. set timing according to instructions and re-installed radiator and started it up. Ran but at a very low idle and applying any gas would sputter it down even more. Have replaced MAF, Igniter, and Coil... no success. The engine ran so hot so fast that it cracked my radiator top. Removed thermostat and seemed to help some but now I need a new radiator and...... HELP! Please.

That post gave me a headache.
Sounds like you way over heated it if your cap busted and you broke a timing belt while it was running. 1st thing i would do would be a compression and leak down test to see if the engine is worth repairing or rebuilding.

Not compression related I don't thinik
I don't think it is a compression problem. It shredded the timing belt while running 65 and I coasted to side of the road. It didn't over heat, the water pump pulley seized and threw the belt and shredded it.
It overheated and cracked the plastic on the radiator because the thermostat stuck shut and the pressure cracked the radiator not the heat. I should have been more clear.
The engine starts right up, but is acting like it's a fuel/air delivery problem since it will idle just fine, but as soon as I step on the gas...nothing. I'm about to swap the TPS sensor and the Fuel Pressure Regulator as it's obviously not an electrical issue. I was just hoping somebody could point me in the right direction before I go through the headache of replacing either one of those. Thanks in advance for any help...
