94 Pickup Engine Swap - Electrical Issues

I've got a 94 Xtra Cab Pickup 4WD, came with the 2.4L 22RE originally. I've done some swapping and got a 4.3L Ecotec V6 in it now. I have a stand alone harness for the motor and am still using part of the old harness when necessary (i.e. transmission, gauges). The old harness is unhooked but still intact in case I need some of it. Everything is complete with the exception of a bit of a wiring issue. I kept the Toyota air conditioning unit on the new motor with the assumption I could just plug it right back up to the old harness, however, it has lost power at some point and I haven't had any luck finding it. I was also wanting to keep the old temperature sending unit for the dash gauges, but it seems to have lost power as well. It seems to be that it was indirectly picking up power in the old harness somehow, and I haven't been able to find anything. I was wondering if anybody could offer any experience with this issue, even from another motor swap. It would be greatly appreciated.
