So the other day I was driving and about 20 minutes into driving I came to a stop light, and when I pressed the gas it went into first but would not go into 2nd and I couldn't get passed 30mph, when I would get up to speed the truck would shake like it wanted to catch the next gear but just couldn't go. no lights came on, on the dash and when I got home I check the fluid levels and they looked just fine, I still haven't found out exactly what the problem is because I don't have any of the money required to fix it, any info on what exactly it could be would help and be much appreciated, Thankyou!

 

From what you stated, this sounds like a transmission issue. Without more information, we can only speculate. If you take it to Auto zone or a auto part store, they can check for codes even if there is no check engine light.
