94 4runner

Hey y'all! Im writing on here to see if I'm paying the right price. I'm looking at a 1994 Toyota 4Runner V6 AWD w/ 106k miles on it. The paint is amazing, interior amazing, i see little rust (given that it's a 30 yo car), engine runs smooth, all the amenities (i.e AC, radio, windows ect) work great, has a clean title, and no damage from what I can see. The dealership wants $19,000 for it. Would y'all pay that price?

I would not pay even half that price for a 2nd gen 4Runner, but it's probably worth 10 thousand or so, considering the current value of the dollar.
The dealers detailers are very artful at putting lipstick on pigs. What warrantee do they offer???
It's low mileage has some value, but nowhere near ten thousand dollars worth.
But then, I do all my own mechanic work.
There are quite a few 2nd gen 4Runners still out there.
I'd find a sick, or dead one, in better than average cosmetic condition for a few thousand dollars, then spend some thousands building it up to my own standards and liking.
I know what I've got then, not what some seller claims it is.

These aren’t rare collector cars. I’d tell the dealer to pound sand and keep searching. $20k for that is ridiculous but used car prices are ridiculous these days.

A first gen I could see it, kinda, look up the blue book on a 94 in decent shape. It may shift your thoughts if something happened to it like stolen or totaled.

yea so I did some more digging and found that the dealership was lying to me. They said the price was non-negotiable since they were selling the car for someone but I did some further digging on the history of the car and the dealership bought it in May, 2023 for $13k. They've done nothing to it since they bought it so I can't justify the cost. Thank you all for the input!
