94 3.0 overheating

I've changed the thermostat and the fan clutch twice. Had the radiator gone through and redone. If I keep the rpms up the temperature gauge will stay in the middle but as soon as I stop in traffic the temperature starts to climb. Any ideas?

Thanks, Tracy

Are you getting coolant flow? Something might be clogged in the coolant system somewhere causing the high temps.

Coolant seems to be flowing. I jacked the front of the truck up this afternoon to make sure the system is purged and after it heated up revved ep the engine with the radiator cap off and it forced coolant out the top. I'm just not sure if the flow is enough. Changed the water pump out not too long ago and hate to think it's gone bad already.
