93 Xtra Cab: rear drive shaft options?

The rear drive shaft is badly rusted. The question is, what to replace it with. When the rear driveshaft went bad on my 84 Xtra Cab I replaced it with a one piece driveshaft that I got from a wrecking yard. It's been a long time so I don't really remember the details, but apparently there was another Toyota truck that had a one piece driveshaft of the correct length. Is there an option like that for my 93 Xtra Cab? And if so, is it a good idea? A new two-piece driveshaft costs about $700. I can get a used one from outside of the Rust Belt for about $125, plus shipping. My concern about a used one would be about rebuilding the double cardan joint (apparently it's hard to find the stud and ball repair kit that is unique to the cardan joint). What is my best least expensive choice? The truck is four-wheel-drive has the 3.0 V6 and a manual transmission.
