hey guys .. i just purchased a 93 toyota pickup 22re that was not running .. it had no compression so i tore the engine down to rebuild.. i found that all the compression rings were stuck .... so i rebuilt it nd it wouldnt start.. fixed this by replacing maf.. now it starts and idles fine but under a load you will not do over 25mph.. and in neutral when you hold it wide open it cuts out or bogs .. i called a toyota mechanic and he said whaterver the problem is may be why the rings were stuck... i have replaced or checked the following............ tps. maf. the hose going from the maf to the throttle body. egr valve. ran it with the manifold removed cause it does not have a cat. replaced fuel pump and fuel filter.. swaped ecu. and main fuel relay behind the glove box.. plugs and wires .. destributor and rotor button seem to be in good shape.. checked the timing and valve adjustments severel times by the book.. timing is 5* btdc. any help would be greatly appreciated or truck may be set on fire and rolled over the hill ..
