Exclamation 92 4runner

So im getting ready to buy a new 92 4 runner with 220k. theres a slight tick that increases with rpm and the throttle pedal is fairly stiff. being that i am a noob take it easy. Are there any simple fixes and things i should look out for?

Red face

From your post I think you need to find someone that can help you look at this vehicle.

Spend a few weeks reading the threads on here and other Toyota forums to come up to speed.

It might also help to tell us things like what engine and trans the big one is what part of the country

vehicles that have never seen winter chemicals can be so much more fun to work on.

Then one persons easy fix is sometimes impossible for others.

Good Luck

Stiff throttle pedal is usually caused by a worn accelerator cable. Mine was stiff until it broke. Nice and smooth with a new one now.
