Yes, I have a siezed rear wheel, when draining gear oil metal flakes were noticeable. Anyone got ideas what this may be and Does anyone know where to obtain pdf's of axle/wheel repair spec's for the 92 4 runner?

Is the wheel siezed, or is the axle siezed. Try removing the wheel and brake drum, and see if the axle is siezed. Could just be the brakes.

Just one? I would say you have a brake problem if just one. E-brake parts siezed. If both wheels then you have a diff problem.

does anybody know how the get the axleshaft out on both sides. my ebrake levers are seized and i broke them off. i need to replace that back plate. thanks

 

Undue the 4 bolts on the back (diff side) and the whole axle and everything comes out.
