Red face

When it comes to things the seller has said to have done I remain skeptical!!

When it comes to engine work

Unless I was involved in doing the work or know who did the work.

All kinds of paper work can be made quite easy to look real official

Something to consider

the p/o was not mechanically minded at all...not an ounce. he straight up told me this. and it was also pretty obvious when he started pointing at components like the radiator cap and alternator and referred to them as 'thingo's' that had been replaced, and sed 'u can tell theyre new because theyre shiney' lol. the logos for the receipts and all recorded information matched the companies service and timing belt stickers

Well, after adjusting my clutch pedal travel, and lowering the warm idle down to 750-800 (according to the dash). It seems a whole lot more drivable now. Wyoming, i think it was a combination of incorrect adjustment and lack of practise with the new car hahaha. But after adjusting it, its 10x better. I also checked the timing which was running at about 16-17deg!!!. I wound that sucker back down to 14. Dont think that would have changed anything though
