90 toyota wont go forward
I have 90 toyota pickup, 4x4 v6 with a 5spd. It sat for maybe 3 days this last week, went to leave driveway & once in 1st gear (or any gear) wont move forward. Feels like its locked up or maybe even binding somewhere. Heres the weird thing, when in neutral it roll freely backwards but wont go forward. Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated thanks

Make absolutely certain you're not in 4WD. The system might be bound up if you are. Check very carefully to ensure the transfer case shifter will run through all it's positions easily. Then make absolutely certain it's in 2HI.
You might also ensure the regular transmission shifter runs through it's positions easily.
Finally, you can try jacking up either one wheel, or one end, at a time, and ensuring all the wheels turn normally. Not bound up trying to turn one direction.

Question, have you tried putting the t-case in neutral and rolling the truck forward?
will it move in reverse gears?

Figured it out!
So I ended up taking shift boots off to reveal top of trans. Removed top stick shift lever/housing and it was all wore out inside. So it wasnt allowing it too cometley get out of gear, or not go into gear. It already didnt go into 5th & reverse. So a new shift kit lever assembly should do.
I will keep you all updated. Thanks for all the imput i appreciate it

Correct!! The whole shift kit lever assembly was all worn out. Where the ball on the end of the shifter sits in. The pins & housing, there was so much play.
