90 toy p/u won't move
Hey there!! My 90 4x4 p/u doesn't want to move no matter what gear I select. It's an auto trans and I checked the linkage and the wiring. It's got oil and the oil don't smell burned. Is there some fuse or relay controlling the trans. It ran fine all day then I parked it for 4 hrs, when I restarted it and tried to move is when I found out it didn't want to. Any help will be welcomed. Thanks.

does it seem like its struggleing, like you were holding your foot on the brake and trying to move, or is it when you put it in drive its just like neutral?
i'd say go over linkages again, check for stuck brakes and frozen parking brake cable (if you set your e-brake), run your transfercase through all the gears and see if you have luck there. and make sure theres not a boot on your wheels. JK
maybe shift selenoids, clutches?
i thought there was some kind of fuse or relay that controls the trans, right?

Sorry, i've been away for a while. Just was web surfing on how to retrieve the codes because my OD light was flashing also. I got codes 42 and 64. Its kinda hard to pinpoint where to start throwing parts at this thing. Do I change the vss first or go right to the solenoids in the tranny. All this happened when I was warming up the truck to go home. It ran fine all the way to the mountains and then didnt want to move when I wanted to come home.
