89 runner 22re noise

Ok the noise is a ticking when light throttle is applied throughout all of the gears. And i can feel i tapping on my foot when its on the clutch, what could this be! The truck has a new head, the timing stuff looks good, also the valves were just adjusted and it has a new exhaust manifold.

TIA

Didnt find any leaks, not even any smoke after the sea foam. if its not fixed when my valves are done, or when i get the exhaust 'leak tested' then im just gonna through in a 4.3 vortec baby.

BTW whats the cold valve adjustment measurements, i have no visible stickers on my hood so i cant find out that way.

Thanks.

When your on the throttle slightly? i have had 2 22res, and this is the only one that made the noise. My other one in my 85 was perfect, especially after having a 188xxx mile timing set that only blew because some ass hat took out my crankshaft pulley bolt, causing oil to go everywhere except the engine, which caused the low pressure to allow the chain to chew up the plates. this is just irritating buying something that you dont know everything about.

They won't do them warm? I have a master mech from Liberty that does mine on the side for $40. Want his name? He just did mine last month.

If you feel tapping on your CLUTCH foot, that would indicate some type of throwout bearing problem....??
