89 to 93 engine q'

89 to 93 engine q'
will an engine from a 93 drop into an 89 truck? both 3vze's but the 89 is a manual and i think the motor from the 93 was an auto? i have all the parts on the 89 still...is this gonna be a pain in the a$$ swap?
