89 4x4 front seal question

I am starting to put the front end back together and I have a dust cover or seal that is bad but can't seem to find a parts store that can even order it. I am not sure what the proper name is and could use some help. If you were to put the hub on it sets directly behind it and the back of the hub sets into it. It is a ring with a seal that is bolted on to a bigger shield that looks like it vents air in for brake cooling? The seal is completely gone and the housing is rounded out. The old wheel bearings were in pieces so I have a different hub now but not sure where to find this seal/dust cover? I have a Haynes manual and it is very helpful but not so much on this. Any ideas on where to order one would really help out. Thanks Mike

So I think it bolts to the backing plate and then the hub slides into it but where to find one? If the rear hub seal is in is this just a dust cover and is it really necessary?

Go to ToyotaPartsOverstock.com http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/ and put in your vehicle information. Then go to the front end section and you should be able to find an exploded view that will show you the part(s) you need and what they are called.

Pretty sure you are talking about that bigger one laying down in the middle.

I think you may have put in the wrong link, since the OP has IFS, not solid front axle.

I was able to source an acceptable dust cover from the junkyard. Thanks to all who helped. Mike
