'89 4Runner from Wyoming

Hey folks, long time lowered VW driver that has always had a sift spot for back road sillyness. my first vehicle was an 83 Ford Ranger, since then I've had Jettas an old rabbit and a Corrado that is still a project.

But we're here for our runners and I just picked my 4Runner up last week. It came with a couple of mods, tires and nerf bars. Here's a couple pictures and I'll just let you guys tell me which direction i should head from there.

You're all the way up in casper?! Why don't you come down to Chey town and I'll help you out with the runner

Anyways, how is she running? I'm making sure all mechanical bits are working before I start the modifications.

Runs well! Got all the fluids buttoned up and I'm ready to use it a bit this summer. Needs a rear bumper/recovery point before I want to get really stuck.

Didn't think another 'Yomer would be the first to reply here lol, rad!

So I would say try and take care of any rust on the vehicle before you get too crazy and before next winter hits. That salt is hell on vehicles.

Rust is just in the rear quarters, I may try my hand at fixing myself while the damage is small, but I'd likely make it worse, well i couldn't ˟˟˟˟ it up that bad i suppose.

I don't want anything extreme out of it, its my daily, and will be for hopefully years to come. This thing is another world of reliability in comparison to the VWs. I already understand a lot of the systems and workings of the Toyota. The Corrado has been in different variances of apart for 6 years and it still stupifies me.
