Ok so I'm new here and need a little help.
I have a 1989 3.0 v6 4 runner.
it runs awesome once its been running for about 5 to 10 mins.

On a cold start when i am going to work at 6 am
it cranks and cranks then will start after you crank it for 5 mins.
after it runs about 5 mins and warms up, its good to go.
when you first start it, it also has Low Fuel presure like 500 rpms.

I just replaced the
fuel presure regulator
fuel filter
cold start injector timer switch.

I did NOT replace the cold start injector.
but I'm kinda outta money to dump in my truck.

can anyone help me out?

You've checked the fuel pressure on it to know its low then?

 

How do you know its low fuel pressure?

Sounds like a VSV at the side of the engine or a temperature sensor on the back of the engine.

Five minutes of cranking? Try just turning the key in short bursts, since each turn will cause the CSI to turn on if its getting the "Cold" signal, since if it was "hot" it would not open up to prevent flooding.
mine was plugged but whichunter fixed that for me.

 

What is the VSV? My 90' V6 does the same thing (not for 5 min, maybe 30 seconds) but it still bugs me.
