Exclamation 89 4runner cuts out

I have been reading and trying to find my problem so i thought i would ask it here:
1989 4 runner sr5 3.0 has been sitting for about 5 years. I drained gas replaced sending unit new fuel pump and she was running good for about a day. the next day it all of sudden will cut out (not shut off) but not have any power i will hold the pedal to the floor and it will kick back in and RPMS rev up and i am able to drive for about 2 seconds. i found out that if i turn the 4runner off for 3 seconds either at a stop light or driving down the road while holding the clutch in and fire it back up and i can drive the truck normal with no issus. so weird to me.... second day i went about bought 2 cans of sea foam and filled tank up and i thought that fixed the issues and cleaned the system. was flying down the road no stop or stutters all day no issuess...the 3rd day, i go to the 4 runner drive it for about 5 minutes and it starts choking out or cuting out like no power when i hold the pedal down. it gives gas and power for 2-3 seconds then cuts out i keep my foot on the pedal and 2/3 second i have power and its on and off for 2/3 seconds power and no power. but its weird b/c i will drive down the road it starts acting up and i turn car off and coast then turn back on and im back to green flag racing for a couple miles until it cut out again i know i repeated my self alot but any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you replaced the fuel filter since? If im understanding correctly it seems driving/running recreates the issue. Could still have gunk in bottom of the tank and/or fuel filter is clogged or repeatedly geting clogged. If not Id inspect your injectors and their connections and grounds.
