89 22re engine trouble
well ... i knew something was wrong so i took it in to a shop
when they got done they said i have 90lbs compression in one cylinder and iam suppose to have 140 right? well all other cylinders are good but for one
replaced wires, plugs, cap but could it be my valves?
when i first bought it i took it in for tune up and they tightened my valves.
but thats been 5 months if not more .. did they maybe tighten them too much and i have a burnt valve??
please tell me your input.. i need this running good asap its my daily. thanks

burnt valve could cause a low compression reading.
I'd have a leakdown test done if possible. That will narrow down things to at least burnt (or maladjusted) valves, rings and/or headgasket issues.

compression test only tells you part of the story.
Now you need to do a leakdown test to pinpoint the leakage.
A tight valve could cause that low reading. as could rings.
If the headgasket were the culprit, you wouldn't be posting as you would be blowing coolant out as fast as you could put it in.
If it is leaking past the valves the first thing to do would be to check the valve clearances
