'88 pickup fuel problem
I have a 19888 4WD pickup with a 22re. My truck wouldn't start the other day, it cranked but wouldn't fire at all. Later that day I used starter fluid and it cranked and ran the rest of the day, starting and stopping like normal. So it did the same thing the next two days but then it quit continuing to run. I waited for a day off to fix it and it started with a spray of fluid and continued to run again. Now it won't continue to run. What is happening? Please

Seems from the INFO you gave the fuel system or fuel pump was losing pressure in the fuel lines .
Your shot of starting fluid allowed enough time to build pressure and it ran all day .
.If it was a electrical problem it would be all the time.
Either a failed pump or fuel filter completely blocked.
Jumper B+ to fp in the connector to see if that gets you running
Without being up close and in person just a guess
