88 4x4 parking bake missing entirely?
OK, so whoever owned my truck before me completely boxed the rear frame and it looks likethey never put it back. Anyone have any pictures of how the parking brake is set up in the rear? Once my buddy comes over were gonna take bed off again and I'll take some pics of the frame to make sure I'm missing nothing else.

The PO of my truck did the same darn thing. He replaced the rear axle with one from a 1 ton pickup. I just took the rear brakes apart over the weekend and it looks like there are various problems (missing parking brake cable on one side, bellcrank seized on the other) so he decided he just didn't need the cable.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
How much are you missing?

You should be able to get all the parts .
The only thing you really need new are the bell crank brackets and the pins the bell cranks can be cleaned up if you find used ones.
Keep in mind the e-brake is what keeps your rear brakes adjusted.

I managed to get the bellcrank broken loose and all cleaned up after a lot of pounding and a lot of pb blaster. Now they're all greased up and should be good to go for a lot of miles.
I have the duo servo brakes, and it seems like the adjuster works off the main brake pedal. From looking at the mechanism the ebrake only seems to push on the front pad, while the adjuster works off the back pad. Am I thinking that through right?
I'm missing two parking brake cables. One is the main Y cable that comes from the strange little interconnect under the cable back to the bell cranks. The other is inside the drum. There are two cables that attach to the small lever inside, and I'm missing the larger one that goes from the lever to the parking brake lever. The big Y one I can find online, the smaller one I'll have to salvage.
