i'm waiting for an owners manual to arrive any day now. does anybody have a good close-up picture of what the window and lock assembly are supposed to look like on a working version. when i bought the truck the guy "showed" me the window worked but the "click-click-click" of the assembly proved it wasn't working right. the lock doesn't raise manually or with the key or with the power lock button (the others work). i was able to disengage the lock spring so the handle will allow me to open the tailgate without putting my hand in there. i wish i knew what i was looking at. it looks like there is a switch that may be fried(where the lock mechanism meets the handle mechanism) but i want a good picture to see what mine is supposed to look like.
also ordered a new motor for the window (used motor that is). does the cap need to be on the back of the truck to have all this stuff operate? we took the cap off to rip all the carpeting out to get rid of the cheap cologne smell in the truck. smelling and looking better now.
