'88 4Runner 4x4 v6 Starter Replacement?

Hey guys, bought my starter today and wanna get it swapped out tomorrow. Does anyone have a Do It Yourself link with all the tools I'll need and easiest way to replace it? I did a search but can't find anything for an '88. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Cheers...

Not sure on the tools but it should be pretty easy. I've got a 92 4runner, so this may not apply to you (depends on 1st gen or 2nd), with a removable panel that is bolted on above the upper control arm of the passenger side wheel well. This gives you easier access to the starter. Removing the wheel also helps.

Luckily I haven't had to replace or even remove my starter. I just did some tests on it for class and found out that the starter control circuit on these is a very efficient design with very little voltage drop.
