87 RX7 Buckets in Single Cab

Anyone toss in a pair of these? Likes, dislikes?

Found a local seller with a pair for 100.00, with mounting brackets. Says the seats are good, no tears, but the drivers seat padding has worn down.

I thought someone on here had a post on how they re-padded they're seats but I couldn't find it. Anyone know if thats a easy thing to do or cheap thing to get done?

Set of seats on the right.

Also got a set of Jegs Bucketseats for 50.00. No padding and no recline-ability but the look cool. Wonder if I could use my existing seatbealts or would need to get harnesses.

i think the crx seats would work better, you would have to bend the front bolt tabs at more of a angle not sure about the rear. i had a 90 crx si, comfy seats and hold u in good., id stay away from the cheesy molded seats, they suck and your rear will take a pounding lol

I would have gone with the CRX seats but they were already sold.

Everything else, "quality" wise is far enough away its not worth the drive and gas spent getting there.

I'm waiting to see if they'll send me some more pictures of the seats and brackets before I decide to even go look at them. But mounting the seats is a concern.

I'm sure it can be done, was kinda hoping for some personal expierence stories on what was needed to get them to fit. I'm sure a seat lift will be needed as sports car seats are set lower to the floor.

About the Jegs, definetly out of the picture. I've got a boney butt, the more cushion the better.

I emailed a guy regarding a 93 Intergra he's trying to part out. Trying to see if he has his seats still available as well. If he does, I'll go that route, price depending.
