Get the kit form Engbuldr.com(sp). You will need to get the head surfaced. If not you will be doing it again in 1 weeks time.

Well, you have to take the head of to do the gasket... so you should have it checked for warpage, etc. If you want to replace the cam with a higher-performance one, this is the time to do it. Also, replacing the timing chain and guides (maybe with metal backed ones from engnbldr as well) is highly recommended if it hasn't been done in the last 25k-50k miles. Expected life from the guides is about 75,000-100,000 miles, but depending on prior servicing may last over 200K miles.
If the head has more than 200K miles on it, servicing the valves may be a good idea, and if the top end was noisy even though the valves were adjusted properly, the rocker shafts and arms may need checked and/or replaced.
