86 runner trans problems

Im having problems down shifting from third to 2 and 2nd to 1st. shift fine when it gets in with out grinding but its a little discearing because im trying to sell it and folks dont want it because of this problem... any ideas?

Try replacing the shifter seat and bushing, when they wear out it makes shifting a little harder.

i called toyota here in hawaii and said that its dicontinued... do you know of any vendors that carry the seat and bushing?
