86 runner running to rich? help please.

my truck is wasting alot of fuel someone told me it was running to rich can someone explain to me what that is and how to fix it how much it would cost thanks.

First thing to do is pull the hose off the presure regulator and see if it revs up.

running rich just means it is dumping too much fuel into the cylinder as opposed to running lean, which is not putting enough fuel in. the first thing i would do is replace your o2 sensor( assuming you have fuel injection)

changed the o2 sensor already. didnt take it for a drive yet but it smells funny thats why someone told me it was running to rich

lol no like ive seen ur truck around a few times..i have an 86 runner not as great condition as urs though lol mines a beater falling apart.
