86 idle issue

I just bought an 86 4x4, 22r, and its got a couple problems, the biggest one I need to deal with is the idle issue, when i start it up when its cold it works fine, but.once it warms up a little it acts like the choke flips back on, isles.real rough and eventually bogs out, mind you it doesn't do it all the time just whenever it wants to,

I am also looking at replacing the carb any good ideas?

Thanks

friend of mine had symptoms similar to this and it ended up being a really bad vacuum leak. Not sure if that's going on with yours but might be worth checking out.

Do not go with Weber. There terrible. I have had 3 different ones all be a 32/36 and I have had no luck at all. My factory Aisin is the best carb I've ever used on my 22r.

I had a 350 Holley a few years back on another 22r and I really enjoyed it as well. It came in really good and produced great performance.
