86 hub install ?

I am putting new brake disc/rotors on the old guy. I got everything off and now just putting it back on. The disc is on the hub and hub is on the truck. The adjusting nut, lock washer and lock nut are on but i still have these parts left over. I have the 88 FSM plus the idiots guide to your toyota books and neither mention these parts. Can anyone tell me where they go? 86 hub install ?-2012-03-24-12.01.22-4.jpg

In case the pic is to small, it is a snap ring and washer with gear grooves on the inside. It is 4X4 with manuals also.

thanks for any help.

Those locate the CV shaft inside the manual hub, you kinda need them there. Take off the freewheeling hub, take the little gold 12mm bolt and washer off the tip of the CV. Put on the splined washer, and then the clip. Replace the 12mm bolt on the end and use a claw hammer on that bolt and washer to pull the CV out far enough that you can push the clip into the groove in the CV.

Ok, will do. Thanks for the help. Maybe next time I'll take picks as I am taking it apart.
