I'm looking to do the swap from the 3.0 to the 3.4 for obvious reasons. But will my stock 5 speed transmission mount up to it? I found a 3.4 for a great price but I don't have another trans just laying around will I need to upgrade?

But to answer your question, yes, the 3.0 5 speed will bolt to the 3.4. Both the 3.0 and the 3.4 use the same R150F transmission, but they have different bellhousings, input shafts, and transfer cases.
