Considering a 5vz swap on my 90 2wd at v6 because its a dawg and gets 180 miles to the tank. I read in some swap threads that the 5vz harness has a plug for the trans that my current one wont have. Should I swap the newer trans in to avoid this issue? Does the newer trans have the same gearing or is it different?

just get a ATM wire harness and ECU .. pretty straight forward to do the pin outs for the tranny
