well i was lookin to sell my tacoma and get a beater for a year or year n a half to pay off bills and save for down payment for a double cab.....i havnt been able to find a beater that i want. i just remembered that my dad n cousin have like a 88 or 89 4runner sitting at my dads ex bosses farm. its been sittin for a few years. my parents are broke and im sure i could get it cheap as in maybe 200 or 300 since im family. its suppose to be very cold the next week or so and wont be able to go look at it. what do u think the chances are of pulling the heads and getting the machined and doing the gasket. or think it might be locked up? its the 3.0

 

i wouldint even waste time with the 3.0L just yank it drop a 3.4L in

 

id like to do that but i just dont have the time or really a place to yank engine and tranny and then do the ecu n stuff. plus wouldnt that make it a drivers side drop instead of a passenger?
