My new shims have not arrived yet.

I do go out and try and figure out how to use the bucket securing tool and making no headway, it is a royal PIA. They claim after a couple shims will get the hang of it, I ain't getting the hang of anything! Even in this how to picture off the net I do not believe there is enough clearance for the shim to come out.

I have tried modifying a couple things and no luck with that either.
