THANK YOU!!!

I have been trying to find out WTF was rattling in my engine compartment. I ordered an EGR valve and realized it wasn't what I thought it was.

I was looking for the REED Valve all along! ugh.

Please Sticky!

There is only one hose that comes off the booster, and goes into the intake on the pass side. It travels along the firewall and makes a 180 bend to a fitting on the intake. I think its about middle of the intake.

Thanks DC I finally found a pic of it here... http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_199...EK_4703.3.html
and a good diagram of the rest of the vacuum sys. here
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_199...EK_1708.5.html
this page gives you the lengths for the corresponding part# [handy if you want to use afermarket hose and cut it yourself I guess...
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_199...RMGEK_1708.htm
Interestingly enough when I look up the power steering in the FSM it shows a line connecting to the vacuum booster system but when I look at the parts listing there does not seem to be one.

Wow, I wish i'd had this during my rebuild. I searched and searched for something like it and ended up just using a combination of several photos i found and trial and error. I actually had my break booster hooked up to evap fuel i think. Very useful.
