3vze 3.0 problem

3vze 3.0 problem
i have a 1990 toyota pickup with the 3.0 and my engine started running rough its a new engine and i got code 31
(mass air flow or vacuum swith) and 52(knock senor). Well ive put two new mass air flow sensors on and 3 sets of vacuum switches and it hasnt changed anything, but the maf where reman. the first one i put on lasted about a week before it started messing up again and the second just didnt do anything at all. any suggestions?

If you put a MAF on it, it won't work because the 90s use a VAFM. Have you checked the wiring leading to the VAFM & Knock Sensor? The knock sensor is a PITA, located under the intake. Probably just the pigtail that runs to it is bad. There are TONS of threads on here about both issues.
