3vz valve adjustment in a hotel room???

I would like to adjust my valves on the bench before i install them on the engine, but I can't find any threads or info on how to do it. Does anyone know the process or can you point me to a thread?

The reason I want to adjust them off of the vehicle is because I am on an out of town business trip for a week and I brought my heads and tools. I'll be doing this work out of the Econolodge in Clovis, NM.

I want to have my heads ready to install this weekend when I go back home to Albuquerque. I actually just finished lapping my valves and changing the valve stem seals last night on one of my heads. Tonight I am doing the other head and changing the exhaust manifold studs and probably having a beer.

I was actually thinking about starting a thread with pics on how to lap valves and change valve seals. Step by step. It is a pretty easy process and I have lots of time and a camera......we'll see.

Check out my work bench. Hahah
I feel sorry for the maid....

Like I said, if someone has info on how to adjust valves on the "bench" let me know!
