Hi guys, I would like a little help here, because I have been searching on google and on the forum, but, sadly, nothing yet and since the posts related to my question are very old, I think it would be ok and/or useful to make a new thread.

I have seen many posts of people using a 7MG-E AFM on 3VZ-E and are having more engine response with better gas mileage. So after 7 seconds of hard thinking I decided to go for the mod. After searching I realized that I have an AFM which was mounted on a Toyota Cressida with a 5MG-E on it, but after searching the OEM part number, which is 22250-74210, on the web, I realized that my AFM originally belongs to a 3SGT-E.

So here is the deal guys, is there someone who could tell me if my AFM will work on my 3VZ-E, since the 3SGT-E is a 4cyl and the 3VZ-E is a V6? I mean, there is many people running, in-line 6cyl, 7MG-E AFM on 4cyl 22RE engines.

Ive been researching the same mod. U need a 7mge afm from an ma70 supra or mx83 cressida (both n/a, not turbo models) i believe the 5mge upgrade is for the 22re. But thats about all the help i can be to u atm.
