a 340h transmission solenoids repaired!!!

I have just test driven my '86 4Runner and it is FIXED! I took the advice of a number of people on the forum here and : 1. learned the problem with my transmission; 2. did a search for solenoids; 3. found that others had changed them easily; 4. ordered the solenoids from Axiom; 5. put them in yesterday afternoon in 3 hours; 6. overfilled my transmission; 7. drained my transmission of the extra fluid; 8. drove the truck and it shifted like new!!!

Without this forum I would never have been able to diagnose the problem, fix it, and save ($1500.oo for new transmission + $400.00 labor = $1900.00- $180.00= $1720.00) $1720.00! Amazing! This is better than how much I save on car insurance with GEICO. Peace.
