does anybody here have any dirt on swapping in a 4 cyl 3.0l turbo diesel from a hilux surf. i have 92 4r 22re/5sp. thinking surf from similiar year as a donor. there is a company in vancouver bc that imports all jdm stuff right from japan. word is when a vehicle gets to 60,000 km they have to through a major emissions refit and it`s cheaper just to scrap the vehicle. don`t know if diesels apply. www.jkjapaneseengine.com is the place. im going to ask them too.
