3.0 swap compatibility issues?

3.0 swap compatibility issues?
I am looking at rebuilding a 90 3.0 longblock for a guy who wants it for a 93 with a burnt valve and higher milage. Are there any differences between the two years at the longblock level? Would he have a lot of trouble with this?
