Well then I guess that would be out of the question then, but back to ECU problems, I mean if someone were to do it couldn't they use a program like megasquirt or haltech etc etc

I don't profess to know all the details, just that it can be done and has been. As for the 3rd party programs, i doubt it or we wouldn'thave developed a whole new ECU for the car.

I don't mean a new ECU flash, I mean a whole new ECU with a different form factor than the factory one and everything.

I think the issue is that the ones we did, the ECU controlled alot more that just the engine. Technically it was an ECM.

This is as close as I can get so far. I still need to fab the intake and get some bigger tires... and another locker.

I love the look that you have but I can't afford that kind of beast yet.

Nice Rig...

Completely off subject to PI, but i noticed your door handles are black! Did you paint and/or rhino line them? I hate all the chrome trim on my 92 4r. What sticks well to that fake chrome plastic ie the door handles?

So what is the point of those mods? Do the lines keep branches out of the way? I can't even guess at a reason to paint the cowl black, other than aesthetics.

Limb risers ^^^^

OT, The Propane kits for carbs are way cheaper... And for the 22R anyway b/c the RE kit makes you use a carb manifold. That's why the 22RE kit costs more than the R.

I wouldn't do it on an engine that couldnt be converted to carb... What if a part breaks and where? Definitely not a fail-safe if you ask me.

Limb risers to keep everything off of the windshield and off of my snorkel, and painted cowls kill hood glare from over head lighting

Junker it looks like your pretty well set up there already buddy, maybe just a little more lift and some bigger tires, winch yada yada but I like it, Depending on what bumper your running or what kind of trails you ride maybe some limb risers since you can do them for next to nothing?
