just jump the diagnostic jumpers like you did to check the timing and then the CEL light will flash out the codes...

If you have the toyota factory service manual you can find out what they are.


SloSurfer, where is your tranny temp gauge mounted?

Do you mean the gauge itself, or the sender? I have the gauge mounted on the steering column and the sender is in the line before the tranny fluid gets to the coolers.

I thought one was supposed to install the sender after the cooler? I dont know I just heard that...
