I'm looking at 4runner and PU's, all 4x4, and I've found a TON of them locally with the blown head gasket. My 93 got a free rebuild in 2002, is this TSB still being fulfilled?

If not, is there a vendor who has rebuilt motors at a decent price point;

Last but not least, any place in or around Houston that's a reputable shop who can rebuild?

 

You are finding a TON with the blown HG for a reason.

Do some research. Toyota 3.0 in pu and 4runnersget are notorious for burning valves or blowing headgaskets! Look around for a 3.4 motor!(:
