I have a 92 3.0 that has 204000 miles. I just noticed a leak on the passenger side front of the engine. It looks like is is either the Power steering pump or somthing on the block behind the pump. The pump is wet and its has leaked down the block and onto the upper control arm...etc etc. This is the first leak ever!

Any ideas? Pump lines? Pump itself?

ALso...since it turned over 200,000 it seems to be loosing power quick. I relaced the O2 sensor because my mileage was way off...and then it started down hill after that. Maybe the cat...it the original one?

Just want to get a game plan before I spend $$$$.

 

usually the seal on the back of the PS pump goes out.

a real PITA to replace for a part that sits front and center on the motor.
