3.0 how meny miles?

I have a 1995 4runner with a 3.0. My question is, how meny miles have any of you seen on this motor. I now have 147K on mine. I had the timing chain changed @97K along with ne HG's. How far do you think she will go . I change the oil every 3K and yes, I baby her. NO OFF ROAD DRIVING. In case your wondering, I use High M. 10W40 GTX oil., and a napa gold oil filter.

at least another 100K. My 1st '91 3.0 v6, went almost 400K, with moderate off roading and lots of highway driving. BUT I was peticulair on what brands I used, and where I went for parts. And I admit, I was rather anal 'bout the maintance schedules and stuff like that......

And I had re-arched leaf springs, cranked T-Bars, giving me 2 inches of lift, but I was running 235/75/15's BFG All Terrians.....

269K and counting. Head gasket, valve job, timing belt ......... all the usual stuff. Minimal off roading. Regular oil changes. Head gasket was at about
262K miles.

I love this question. It's like asking "how high is up?"

Before I sold it, my 88 4runner had 205,000 miles and all I ever used was the Kmart crap oil.

No kidding eh? The engine will last long, if you have taken care of it and got a little luck...

My '89 went 136,000 before blowing it's 2nd HG. It ran great until then but that was enough 3.0 for me.

I've got ~142500 miles on mine(228000Km). I didn't have proof but I ran into someone once and they said they had a 4Runner with 550,000KM (~343,00 miles) on thier 3.0.

There was an Alberta vet who got over 800 000 kms on his 4Runner with nothing more than routine maintenance.

Can't recall his name, though.

I'll roll 376 000 on mine soon...oops, I did the 3.4 swap last year. Mind you, that allegedly had 314 000 kms on it when I bought it.
