3.0 ground

I am trying to finish a long block 3.0 and I have come across a ground issue. There is a ground attached to the passenger side rear cam bearing cap, just behind the valve cover. There were 2 lines to it, one of them having a black plug with a spade connector. I cannot find the other connector. I do not recall taking one apart there during tear down, but I could be wrong. The motor had work done for previous owner, so I have found w few things missing and mismatched. I am trying to find out where it was supposed to go. Did it just go to the body? That would be an easy one to take care of. If anyone has the chance to take a look under their hood, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

The ground to the bearing cap is a single wire, to the harness. The ground from the firewall goes to a spade connector, and connects to a pigtail on top of the plenum.

Do these sound like what you're asking about?

Thanks for the quick reply. If there is only one wire going to the bearing cap, it sounds like someone put a spade plug pigtail on for no apparent reason.
Thanks again.

Makes me wonder why. But like he says. It shouldn't be there.
