3.0 dies when pressing gas on cold start

Alright! So my 1990 4Runner is kinda sick. 205xxx miles. 63 Chevys in the back. Stock it's in front. When cold it starts up and idles fine. But when I press the gas it stumbles and dies(this is right after it starts). When warm it idles and drives fine. Has a lil stumble here and there but doesn't try and die. I've done the basic fuel filter tune up etc to it and it seemed a lil better but still dies when cold. My thought behind it is that it is not getting enough fuel. But if it wasn't getting enough fuel it would do the same thing warm... Right? other than this studdering and dying when cold and pressing on the gas, it runs great. Any help or ideas are appriciated.

What engine? I would look at AFM and O2 sensor wiring first.

Definitely sounds AFM related.
