2wd vs. 4wd 3.0 radiators

Before I go and buy another new radiator, I was hoping someone on here could verify that there is a difference between 3.0 radiators found in 2wd vs. 4wd trucks.

I have a 2WD and my 3.0 radiator I bought from trail gear doesn't fit in my truck!

you can see where it hits the strut frame in this picture:

Thanks

I have not seen a visual difference between the 2...but on a side note how is your suspension set up?

Hmm, right after I bought my radiator I remember reading a post somewhere and I thought to myself, "Oh crap, I need a 2WD radiator." I installed the radiator with no clearance issues with my old front set-up. But I got new A-arms/Spindles/strut frame and now the radiator is to tall.

my front is setup with a Total Chaos uniball kit.

I went to napa today and picked up a new 2WD 3.0 radiator.

Just in case anyone in the future is searching for this, the 2x4 3.0 radiator is 1.25" shorter than the 4x4 3.0 radiator.

Does anyone need a 4x4 3.0 radiator with 20miles on it?

Damn I just got one, otherwise, I woudl take it off your hands.

This might be a selling point for you. The 4x4 V6 radiator is an upgrade for us 4x4 22re guys. I still have a 22re, but I put the 4x4 V6 radiator with it.

The V6 is a 3 core, as where the 4 cyl is a 2 core. Much improved cooling.

I had to remove my fan shroud because of the extra width, though. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Nice lookin truck!
